The
aim of the ESOP is the promotion and the development of employee participation
in corporate profits and decisions.
The objectives :
- to
promote Employee Ownership and Participation as socio-economic progress in Europe.
- to
be an organism for dialogue and representation ; work in order to have law
texts adopted, and make recommendations for improving the law.
- to be
a Centre for the exchange of information on Employee Share Ownership and its
legislation.
- to
contribute at the promotion of Associations of Employee shareholders,
collectives of Employee shareholders and Retired Shareholders, or organisations
representing Employee Share Ownership.
- to
facilitate the Association of Employee shareholders integration into the life
of Companies.
- to provide a forum for
debate on the evolution of this concept.
- to
defend the interests of Employee shareholders.
- to
contribute to the European construction and the building of a social Europe in which Participation
and Share Ownership will play an important role.
